Sorry no updates from class the past 2 weeks. We are trying to update it as much as possible, but I've been of town.

Check out some responses and add your own but also when you do share try not to be anonymous, part of community is owning your words.

Greetings from me to you! God is drawing me closer to Him and I wanted to share a small bit to encourage. I have been reading a book called Ratcage by David Pierce which in turn as led me into more prayer and scripture reading, something I have been lacking for a while. I was invited to play piano and sing during last weeks service...note that I have never played piano or taken a music lesson before. I used to play keyboards by sound but never piano. Singing I love so that was natural. Glory to God for giving me not just an opportunity to play but the ability to accept a challenge in my faith to trust in Him to do it. It was truly Spirit led. I also had a chance to pray with David Pierce after he spoke, such power in prayer with that man, Lord bless him. I am going to begin taking a more active role with worship at church for the next month or so which is an opportunity to give to our church in a more tangible way than I have in the past. I thank my God every day for the new life I have in Him since last year at this time. I never really knew what Amanda went through until last night on our 11th annivesary and she shared with me some details of my hospitalization and surgery and what she went through emotionally. I live now in full confidance of His lordship in my life and that nothing can seperate me from His love for me. As I won't be in class for a while due to my involvement with worship I want you to know(whoever reads this) that I will be praying daily for that peace that passes all understanding as our class grows deeper with Jesus. Prayer is crucial and often needed and longed for. I have found in it, that Jesus continues to call me friend and as I let go He leads even when I do not want to go. May God bless you and we'll see you soon.

thanks Jeff!
