Greg goes down with Flu...He's recovering-Which is good.
But we met down in the library and we compared and contrasted the American Dream vs. the Beatitudes. Those are found in Matthew 5 :3-12.

I didn't read the chapter, but I wonder if comparing the American Dream to the beatitudes is actually fair in some ways.
Are we suppose to strive to be blessed because we mourn? HOw do you strive to mourn? I'm just not sure I get the connect...

Praise God for the flu! well, the flu is better than other things.
What is the American Dream? I grew up a headbanger in the 80's so I am unsure of what it is.

2.5 kids, white picket fence, big house in the burbs, a safe life...and for me personally a membership to a golf club(but that's just me)
